About Blue Reef Beach
In 2023, the owner of Blue Reef Island, Belize, learned that the renowned Robert's Grove resort was up for auction. Captivated by the stunning marina views and the potential to revive this iconic property, a visit was all it took for him to fall in love with the site. By January 2024, Blue Reef Beach & Marina was born, with plans to transform the once-dilapidated resort into a modern oasis.
The Vision

Renovations began immediately, aiming to bring new life to the property while honouring its legacy. Phase one included the rebranding of the marina restaurant into the Blue Lagoon Seafood Restaurant, offering Latin American fusion cuisine and craft cocktails. Opened in May 2024, Blue Lagoon quickly became one of the most popular dining spots on the peninsula, praised for its fun ambiance, culinary excellence, and sunset views over the marina.
As renovations continue, the beachside area will soon feature a stunning 30 x 70 pool with a swim-up bar, an air-conditioned Beachside restaurant, a beachside cocktail bar, and 20 new luxury rooms, each outfitted with high-end linens and elegant finishes. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea these rooms offer guests a tranquil retreat amidst modern comforts.
